Please branch and build lua-lpeg in epel9. If you do not wish to maintain lua-lpeg in epel9, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package; please add the epel-packagers-sig group through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/lua-lpeg/addgroup and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches. As of writing, lua-lpeg is not part of RHEL 9 (just RHEL 8), thus it can be branched for EPEL 9. However, lua5.1-lpeg's epel9 branch, which already has been built for EPEL 9 by Michel Alexandre, needs to be deprecated/retired from my point of view. I'm not sure if Michel Alexandre is interested in co-maintaining lua-lpeg for EPEL 9, adding him to Cc.
