If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks, erlang-esip will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 38, erlang-esip will be retired, if it still fails to build. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 37 development cycle. Changing version to 37.
I think I am seeing something related to this when I try to run dnf update in F37. Problem 1: package erlang-esip-1.0.37-4.fc36.x86_64 requires erlang(erl_nif_version) = 2.15, but none of the providers can be installed - cannot install both erlang-erts-25.0.3-3.fc37.x86_64 and erlang-erts-24.3.4.2-1.fc37.x86_64 - cannot install the best update candidate for package erlang-esip-1.0.37-4.fc36.x86_64 - cannot install the best update candidate for package erlang-erts-24.3.4.2-1.fc37.x86_64
Automation has figured out the package is retired in Fedora 37. If you like it to be unretired, please open a ticket at https://pagure.io/releng/new_issue?template=package_unretirement
