It would be great to have this on EPEL 9, especially with podman's increasing support of the Docker API.

I'd like to point out that we still have legacy docker-compose 1.29 in Fedora that is written in python:

The upstream rewrote the internals in go which means the build and installation are now completely different:

https://github.com/docker/compose#about-update-and-backward-compatibility
