Upstream has migrated to pyproject.toml [1], which means that this is not a simple version bump. Currently, the problem is that the new sources package does not contain test files. They need to be added somehow. Also, pyproject.toml added a [test] extra, which, according to the the Python packaging guidelines, should automatically add BuildRequires: pytest. Using this automation would be good, but trying to switch depending on it, I just got messages like this: Handling pytest ; extra == "test" from get_requires_for_build_wheel Ignoring alien requirement: pytest ; extra == "test" And then tests failing due to: /usr/bin/pytest: No such file or directory [1]: https://github.com/aajanki/yle-dl/commit/36e6f08b2b15e0a206738ff070d5c36b552f6f19
