Could you please branch and build python-QtPy in epel9?
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: jonathanspw).
In reply to Jonathan Wright from comment #1) > I would be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: jonathanspw). That's great. In that case, I am happy to request an EPEL-9 branch
Will you be able to branch and build python-QtPy in epel9? The EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish to build it on epel9. I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: jonathanspw). I can be the primary contact for EPEL (FAS: jonathanspw).
https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/50202 I will add you as primary contact as soon as this is approved. Sorry for the delay.

are you interested in and able to co-maintain spyder as well?
(In reply to Mukundan Ragavan from comment #9) > are you interested in and able to co-maintain spyder as well? Sure I wouldn't mind helping with that one as well. It falls in line with some things I'm getting more involved with anyway.
Thanks. I am having lesser and lesser time these days and spyder's dependencies keep increasing. :( https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/nonamedotc/spyder/ This COPR should give an idea on what is involved. Feel free to send PR (or if you want to be added as co-maintainer). pytoolconfig and docstring-to-markdown are not in fedora repos. I have packaged it but have not yet submitted for review. Other components will only need updating.
If you'll add me as an admin that'd be great. I'll see about getting some dependencies packaged as well as the possibility of getting it in EPEL as well which will probably be a lot of work but lots of the science community uses EL so getting it in EPEL would probably help a lot of folks.
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/spyder Added you as admin. I am not stepping away from this. Feel free to ping me if I can help in anyway. Thanks for agreeing to co-maintain the package.
