Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because
the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.
Description of problem:
Content View filter creation/edit button should say "Save" instead of "Edit rule"
This is a request to change the current text seen in the button to submit/save changes made to content view rules from "Edit rule" to "Save" or "Submit" or "Apply". The current text provides confusion as to what will happen to the changes made on the screen and if they will be applied.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.12
How reproducible:
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login to Satellite Web UI -> Content -> Content View
2. Filters -> Errata - by date range -> Create Filter
or
2. Filters > RPM > Add RPM Rule or Edit existing RPM rule
3. Show "Edit rule" Button
Actual results:
Shows "Edit rule" Button while trying to Edit/Save a rule
Expected results:
"SAVE" button is more logical than "Edit rule" Button in UI
Additional info:
Just a UI/UX RFE, however at the backend it doing the same thing
This seems to be the default name for the save/submit action for any cv filter edit. I have attached screenshots for both the "Errata - by date range" and filter by rpm > edit/add rpm rule. I'll amend the bug title to reflect a larger view of this button name.
Verified on 6.15 - Snap 5
Steps to Verify:
1. Create a Content View
2. Add some Repositories
3. Create an Errata by Date Range filter
Expected Results:
The Confirmation button should read "Save"
Actual Results:
The Confirmation button reads "Save"
Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a
