core upgraded gaim to beta4. gaim-otr now needs to be recompiled so it will work again.
I added a patch that fixes the compile problems. I am not yet able to verify this, because my desktop can't run gaim-2, and my compile box seems to not be able to properly export its display of gaim without GDK errors. On top of that, the build command I just sent might not have made it. I think the build system is overloaded. But the fix is in CVS, if you want to check it out. Or mail me for the patch. I'd love to hear if my patch fixes everything. And then we can go write the gaim-text plugin version.
Pulled things from CVS and it all seems to work fine for me. compiles, installs, encrypts, decrypts.
Just to be clear, you meant you got gaim-otr from the Fedora Extras CVS with my patch? Or did you get it from the gaim-otr CVS on sourceforge?
I grabbed the src.rpm from extras, checked out the module from FE cvs and compiled it against the spec and patch in the "devel" subdir.
Excellent. Thank you. I've pushed to FC-6 as well, and closing this bug now. Thanks for testing and reporting!
