I have deployed a new cluster for 17.0 using the latest compose available (RHOS-17.0-RHEL-9-20220909.n.0) using Infrared, and ran the group "backup-and-restore", that groups a number of different validations to check the integrity of a cluster. Some of the validations fail on the freshly installed cluster: oslo-config-validator container-status image-serve undercloud-service-status (apparently fixed in https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/tripleo-common/+/855871 but still failing for me)
Hi. Thanks for the report. Could you attach logs from the cluster so we can take a look? Specifically the contents of $HOME/validations directory.
Hi Jiri, I have attached the logs found in Undercloud. The directory $HOME/validations does not exist in my case, but the json files found in /var/log/validations contain the errors I saw while executing the validations. For some of them, there are 2 or in one case even 3 logs. Those were my attempts to try to execute the validation within the group or by itself, but the result is always the same. I hope those are helpful, if they are not, please ask for any other stuff you need.
The question of oslo validator would probably best be solved by an independent bug as well. DFG: compute maintains that validation.
The report was split into separate bugs which will be pursued further. All information are preserved and inherited by followups.
