In order to build Chromium for EPEL7, I need python3-importlib-metadata branched/built there. Please consider doing this.
This is waiting for python-importlib-resources to be available for EPEL7, which can be tracked by BZ1910124. Once that is done, I'll get this completed and pushed.
It looks like python-importlib-resources has is now in review. I'll see if I can build python3-importlib-metadata against it.
@spotrh python3-importlib-metadata is now available for EPEL7. Currently it doesn't have tests enabled during build, but I'll reenable it shortly and then will bump the build, but it should make no difference to its actual usage.
