Description of problem: While doing demotion of Primary journal Mirror image on cluster-a from dashboard, Mirroring is disabled on the image and respective mirror images is removed from the cluster-b. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ceph version 17.2.3-47.el9cp (1a00ea1102fdf76fbf54be3e10d21cc19fc61270) quincy (stable) How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable the RBD mirroring on cluster-a and cluster-b 2. Create an Image of 5 GB with Journal mirroring enabled. 3. Make sure that created image is synced and available in cluster-b 4. Now go to primary cluster dashboard -> Block -> Images -> select Image -> click on Edit and Perform demote operation on primary image from cluster-a. Actual results: Mirroring is disabled for the image and respective image is removed from the cluster-b. Expected results: Demote operation should work on primary image and image should marked as secondary. Additional info: Tried the same from CLI , able to demote of primary journal mirror image from cluster-a and able to promote the secondary image from cluster-b.
