Description of problem: gnome-shell-extension-caffeine currently won't start on GNOME 43 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 39 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Fedora 37 with GNOME 2.Install gnome-shell-extension-caffeine. Enable it. 3.Extensions reports it is incompatible with the current version of GNOME, due to metadata constraints. Actual results: Extension blocked Expected results: Extension runs Additional info: This commit fixes the issue upstream: https://github.com/eonpatapon/gnome-shell-extension-caffeine/commit/e5b2fe7bdf2ad6ee090125d64bcc037ed81b4a08 As a workaround, it works to add 43 to the allowed versions list in /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/caffeine/metadata.json
Thanks, it looks like upstream monitoring was broken and I missed the bump 6 days ago. I just fixed it, so it shouldn't happen again if the change is tagged upstream. Anyway, I'll push a fix shortly for f37.
