Hello @xiubli ,

The customer quickly snapped back that root squash does not explain why client attempt to read a file back and get a zero length content. This zero-length-content issue does not happen on demand like the issue of using dd to write a file.

There is also the issue, that these issues do not happen in RHEL 8.5 client, but only on RHEL 8.3 clients

I've asked for more logs and to triple-confirm the client version of the clients having issues, but I'm curious what you think?

Please let us know, thank you

BR
Manny
