Created attachment 1921910 [details] catalog-crash Description of problem: The catalog shows the template list for users who do not have enough permissions to process a template under 'all-namespaces' or a specific namespace which is not allowed for example openshift-virtualization-os-images namespaces Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. navigate to Virtualization -> catalog and select openshift-virtualization-os-images namespce 2. pick any template the drawer will appear and the footer will have only Customize VirtualMachine and Cancel buttons, click Customize will lead to a crash 3. Actual results: Template list is shown and clickable Expected results: an Error should appear to say this namespace is not eligible for processing the template Additional info:
If the user has view permission to this project, the user should still see all templates in this project but not able to procedure. And refer to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2140539#c2, the error should come from the back-end, not UI implemented error.
