Here is the story I was trying to setup a linux machine with redhat 5.2 as a print server. I was able to print locally, and remotely if the user was known. I haven't turn the 'rs' (restricts valid users to locals only) flag on. The print jobs I was sent were denied by the lpd. After a day of frustration I find a bug (unprotected RS). The relative patch is attached. The question is: Who should I contact to get the bug fixed for the next distributions? And here is the patch .Bill
