Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): The same setup used to work before the update on the 17th of November: Upgrade supertuxkart-1.4-2.fc36.x86_64 @updates Upgraded supertuxkart-1.3-3.fc36.1.x86_64 @@System Upgrade supertuxkart-data-1.4-2.fc36.noarch @updates Upgraded supertuxkart-data-1.3-3.fc36.1.noarch @@System Since then, I upgraded to F37 but it didn't worsen or improve the situation. How reproducible: This always happens depending on the combination of field chosen and number of players. The failing fields seem to fail with 5 players or more (either 1 human and 4 AI players, or 2 humans and 3 AIs, doesn't seem to matter) Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to Single or Splitscreen mode and select one or two players 2. Start the battle mode 3. Select an arena (Pumpkin Park, Temple and Skate have the issue; Cave X and Battle Space don't - but Cave X can have only a max of 4 players) 4. Start -> coredump Actual results: Crash Expected results: Play! Additional info: It doesn't depend on the language, I switched from German to English, for the same result. As the video seems the most relevant, here an extract of my config: I have 16GB of RAM but run only on the integrated GPU of an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz (but performance is otherwise OK, and it used to work). Note that reporting the issue via the Problem Reporting application failed on the Stacktrace step (some directory missing).
You still see this with the 1.4-4 package?
Sorry for the delay, and yes: supertuxkart-1.4-4.fc37.x86_64, issue is still there.
Upstream seems to think it's a gcc bug but I did a local rebuild with clang and it still crashes. https://github.com/supertuxkart/stk-code/issues/4834
Upstream sent a working patch, update forthcoming.
