Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Robert Scheck 2022-11-22 09:29:40 UTC
Description of problem:
In order to build scribus for EPEL 9, we need libqxp-devel available at build-time in CRB 9. Please add libqxp-devel to CRB 9 for this.

While it might maybe be possible to actually build scribus without libqxp support, a fully featured scribus is still our desired result.

Comment 1 Robert Scheck 2022-11-22 09:46:42 UTC
Cross-filed case #03367842 at the Red Hat customer portal.

Comment 2 Tomas Popela 2022-11-22 10:03:58 UTC
I will close the others as a duplicate of this one so we save some time on the process side of things.

Comment 7 Tomas Popela 2022-11-22 10:07:36 UTC
To summarize it, we will add the following to the CRB:

libqxp-devel
libpagemaker-devel
libcdr-devel
libfreehand-devel
libmspub-devel

Caolan, if you're fine with it, please set the devel_ack+ and I will take care of the rest.

Comment 8 Robert Scheck 2022-11-22 10:10:02 UTC
Tomas, thank you for taking care, however we lost one somewhere: Should be {libmspub,libcdr,libfreehand,libpagemaker,libqxp,libzmf}-devel (6 instead of 5 packages)

Comment 9 Tomas Popela 2022-11-22 10:19:01 UTC
You're right, it's https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2144771 as well, but that one wasn't mirrored to JIRA (so I was not aware of it). Thanks for noticing that!

Comment 14 Robert Scheck 2022-11-23 21:12:39 UTC
Tomas, I unfortunately forgot to request poppler-data-devel for CRB in my requests as well - sorry. Any chance to add it as well, or does it require a separate RHBZ?

No need for another ticket. @mkasik are you ok with shipping the poppler-data-devel in CRB for RHEL 9?

Hi, yes, I agree with including of poppler-data-devel in CRB.

Comment 19 Tomas Popela 2022-11-29 15:13:43 UTC
poppler-data-devel should be already moved to CRB
