Additional info:

Comment 1 wkclemmons 2022-12-07 21:19:58 UTC
I had to use the fedora-packager component description to file this package request for epel9 because gscan2pdf was not listed as a component.

Comment 2 Michel Lind 2022-12-07 21:56:29 UTC
This is the dependency chain for the missing packages, if it helps:

perl-Carp-Always perl-Image-Sane unpaper goocanvas2 urw-base35-fonts perl-Set-IntSpan perl-Image-PNG-Libpng sane-frontends perl-Cairo perl-Test-Inter perl-Graphics-TIFF : perl-Cairo-GObject perl-Locale-Codes perl-PDF-Builder : perl-Glib-Object-Introspection : perl-Gtk3 perl-GooCanvas2 : perl-Gtk3-ImageView perl-Gtk3-SimpleList : gscan

Comment 3 wkclemmons 2022-12-15 22:47:49 UTC
Will you be able to branch and build gscan2pdf in epel9?

Comment 4 Petr Pisar 2023-01-02 12:16:02 UTC
I won't be able to do it any soon. That's a lot of new, desktop-oriented packages for EPEL 9.

Comment 5 Ben Cotton 2023-02-07 15:12:55 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 38 development cycle.
Changing version to 38.
