Description of problem:

RHEL8.7 and CentOS Stream 8 have been updated to utf8proc 2.6.1.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:

Installing utf8proc-devel from EPEL will downgrade utf8proc to 2.1.1

Please update to utf8proc 2.6.1 and build.

If you don't have the time to do this, please consider adding me (kkeithle) or the EPEL packaging SIG to the maintainers in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/utf8proc-epel

Actually, utf8proc-devel was added to the subversion-devel module in CRB - bz#1996237, so I have now retired this package.  I noticed that subversion-devel seems to be missing from CentOS Stream 8, so I filed bz#2152265.

Sorry, I'm not seeing utf8proc-devel when I install subversion-devel on my RHEL8.7 machine. I only see utf8proc.  AFAIK the utf8proc-epel rpm in epel8 only provided the utf8proc-devel subpackage and not the base utf8proc package, which has always been in AppStream on RHEL8.
