systemd version?

Comment 2 Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 2022-12-13 10:19:18 UTC
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/25720

Comment 3 Harald Reindl 2022-12-13 10:20:19 UTC
as said F36: systemd-250.8-1.fc36.x86_64

Comment 4 Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 2022-12-13 18:18:11 UTC
Do you know if the message was *generated* with that systemd version?
(We had a issue with broken extraction of json strings, which would lead to an error message like you see, with invalid text, but that should already be fixed.)

Comment 5 Harald Reindl 2022-12-13 21:02:04 UTC
as you can see that message is from YESTERDAY, the f36 dist-upgrade was done weeks ago

Comment 14 David Tardon 2023-01-26 11:49:36 UTC
You filed a bug concerning invalid chars in logs. It has been fixed. Anything else is a different bug and shouldn't be mixed in here.

Comment 15 Harald Reindl 2023-01-26 14:19:48 UTC
no, i simply didn't know that this nonsense isn't related to the char and happens all the time - i am concerned about the "json_parse on ... failed: Invalid argument" logspam
