Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description addubey 2023-01-05 18:26:50 UTC
Description of problem: On a fresh satellite instance if we trigger a Job via a job template it allows to fill in the details with legacy UI , but if we go for running a job again it open's up the new UI.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Satellite 6.13 snap 4

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run a job on satellite (It will do that with legacy UI)
2. Try to run another Job on the same satellite by clicking on the run job button.
3. Goes to the new UI.

Actual results: Traverses to the New UI

Expected results: There should be consistency in sticking to one UI page.

I'm failing to reproduce this on 6.13 snap 5. Could you please check again on a newer snap and in case you manage to reproduce it, provide more details (what templates you were using and so on)?

Comment 6 Adam Ruzicka 2023-01-20 12:57:47 UTC
Ah, i see. The empty state/welcome page links to the old form.

Comment 7 Bryan Kearney 2023-01-30 16:03:12 UTC
Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/35972 has been resolved.

Comment 8 Peter Ondrejka 2023-02-27 11:31:00 UTC
Verified on Sat 6.13 snap 12, invocations welcome page now points to the new wizard
