Created attachment 1938286 [details] rawhide kernel log taken shortly after reproducing 1. Please describe the problem: Every 15 minutes or so audio stops for a split second and then proceeds playing. I didn't measure the exact interval and not sure if it is stable. 2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel: kernel-core-6.1.5-200.fc37.x86_64 3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue *first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 : Issue did not exist on kernel 6.0, like kernel-core-6.0.18-300.fc37.x86_64 4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce the issue below: Easiest way to reproduce is to just have some video or music playing in the background and should happen in the next 20 minutes. It's not required to have any cpu intensive tasks running. 5. Does this problem occur with the latest Rawhide kernel? To install the Rawhide kernel, run ``sudo dnf install fedora-repos-rawhide`` followed by ``sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide kernel``: I was still able to reproduce the issue with kernel-core-6.2.0-0.rc3.20230113gitd9fc1511728c.28.fc38.x86_64 6. Are you running any modules that not shipped with directly Fedora's kernel?: no 7. Please attach the kernel logs. You can get the complete kernel log for a boot with ``journalctl --no-hostname -k > dmesg.txt``. If the issue occurred on a previous boot, use the journalctl ``-b`` flag. attaching rawhide kernel log taken shortly after reproducing
I've heard the workaround for this is to disable AMD fTPM in UEFI settings and so far it seems to be true, no more stuttering.
