Yes, it sure has, and I'm excited for it. I posted about it a month ago to fedora-devel-list [1] and fedora-user-list [2]. Executive summary: there are problems with 4.0 that need to be debugged before it is released as a Fedora package.

First and foremost, while 3.x has some issues on Wayland, 4.0 doesn't work with Wayland at all. Anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes after launching MuseScore, it abruply exits with the message "Protocol error". Since Wayland is the default for new Fedora installs, this is a pretty serious issue. (The flatpak can, of course, simply force use of an X server to avoid this issue. I don't have that option.)

The splash screen doesn't appear, with both X and Wayland. I don't know why.

I have a COPR where I'm working on these issues [3]. It currently has version 4.0. I plan to build version 4.0.1 later tonight, after I debug a compilation error I'm getting with that version.

If you know how to debug the Wayland or splash screen issues, I welcome the help.
