Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
.MDLog replay thread does not deadlock anymore and log events get replayed as expected Previously, a bug in the MDS journaler machinery would cause the MDLog replay thread to infinitely block. Due to this, MDLog replayer thread would infinitely block causing log events from being replayed. With this fix, the race condition that causes the thread to get deadlock is never hit. This is done by refactoring the logic that acquires locks. MDLog replay thread does not deadlock anymore and log events get replayed as expected.
