Doc Type: Known Issue
Doc Text:
Currently, in RHOSP 17.1 environments that use BGP dynamic routing, the RHOSP Compute service cannot route packets sent from one of these instances to a multicast IP address destination. Therefore, instances subscribed to a multicast group fail to receive the packets sent to them. The cause is that BGP multicast routing is not properly configured on the overcloud nodes. + *Workaround:* Currently, there is no workaround.

This feature can be considered for RHOSO 18 - so far we have this jira ticket that can be repurposed for 18 - https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OSP-21694
