Please branch and build rttr in epel9. If you do not wish to maintain rttr in epel9, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package; please add the epel-packagers-sig group through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rttr/addgroup and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.
we also need to fix FTBFS on rawhide
Is rttr really needed in the current package that used to depend on it ?
(In reply to Nicolas Chauvet (kwizart) from comment #2) > Is rttr really needed in the current package that used to depend on it ? I checked some minutes ago, and yes now is needed (again) (not just for test units)
So it looks like rttr broke with GCC 12, since it builds fine in RHEL 9 with GCC 11. This might be something that we need to involve the GCC folks for to help us out.
Kdenlive uses it for crash reporting.
I've commented in the FTBFS bug (bug 2113682) and pinged one of the compiler folks. Let's consider that a separate issue from this one, since rttr builds fine on RHEL 9.
