This testsuite suite is run during the package build when the release macro '%last_tested_version' is lesser than the package version: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/community-mysql/blob/rawhide/f/community-mysql.spec#_16 I have found out that this testuite started to fail on Fedora 38. Both MySQL 8.0.31 and 8.0.32 testuite pass on F37 and older. The tests error messages aren't helpful, they usually looks like this: | | [ 36%] query_rewrite_plugins.digest_collision w1 [ fail ] | Test ended at 2023-01-30 10:25:09 | CURRENT_TEST: query_rewrite_plugins.digest_collision | mysqltest: At line 42: Query 'CALL query_rewrite.flush_rewrite_rules()' failed. |
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 38 development cycle. Changing version to 38.
