By chance I came over the following; Description of problem: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.2.3/32/libg2c.so -> ../../../../libg2c.so.0.0.0 Which is nowhere. I suspect a '../lib/' or '../lib64/' more should be in where it points to. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): compat-gcc-32-g77.x86_64 3.2.3-56.fc5 installed Thanks -- Karl Magnus
That link is supposed to be stale unless you have installed compat-libf2c-32-3.2.3-56.fc5.i386.rpm. compat-gcc-32-g77 intentionally doesn't force you to install the 32-bit compat-libf2c-32, not everybody wants to develop 32-bit fortran apps on x86-64 (and requiring compat-libf2c-32 would in turn require things like 32-bit glibc-devel, glibc, etc.).
