Description of problem: On a F37 desktop system running exim, the periodic queue runs (-q10m) cause selinux denials, triggering a Selinux troubleshooter popup. This only seems to happen on an actual desktop system, other F37 (non-desktop) system with the same exim config do not show these errors. SeLinux error: ``` 32. 02/13/2023 08:36:05 exim system_u:system_r:exim_t:s0 0 dir search system_u:object_r:sysctl_net_t:s0 denied 384 time->Mon Feb 13 08:36:05 2023 type=AVC msg=audit(1676273765.783:384): avc: denied { search } for pid=7055 comm="exim" name="net" dev="proc" ino=18089 scontext=system_u:system_r:exim_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:sysctl_net_t:s0 tclass=dir permissive=0 ``` The target directory is /proc/sys/net Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): exim-4.96-6.fc37.x86_64
I have filed the same issue in the selinux-policy component as bug #2211025.
