We are currently testing STF with 250 nodes, and once that's completed we can try testing the code to check if we see the improvement.

Asma,

I attached a couple of reviews with the changes I have been testing out.  Is that sufficient for you to implement the changes? I need to do some final test to confirm that the patches do not break a deployment, but the machine I am using is currently on the fritz in Tel Aviv.  I'll try to confirm on a different machine today, but I'm expecting the patches to work.

I'll update once the test is done.

Since the changes to the triplo-ipa component merged upstream, I'm moving it to modified. We will create a separate Bugzilla for the t-h-t changes.

It was determined that blocker is not necessary, since the change is already present in promotion for 17.1 GA.
