Description Paul F. Johnson 2006-11-26 14:07:22 UTC
Description of problem:
I have a presentation created on ppt which I needed to slightly amend on the
Linux box. When I ran the presentation, the fade ins and fade outs failed
miserably - they either ran or just did nothing

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.1.0-4.1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the file from http://nodoid.homelinux.org/csharp/layer2.ppt
2. Run the slideshow
3.

Actual results:
The timings and animations are seriously messed up

Expected results:
Should run as smooth if not smoother than what the Borg produces

Additional info:
PPT created on Office 2003

URL should be

http://nodoid.homelinux.org/csharp/layers2.ppt

Comment 2 Caolan McNamara 2006-11-27 10:55:10 UTC
you get a different, and maybe better, effect if you disable
tools->options->openoffice.org->view->use hardware acceleration
