Assuming this is https://github.com/containerd/containerd/security/advisories/GHSA-hmfx-3pcx-653p, the upstream advisory references https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-fjm8-m7m6-2fjp, where buildah's code paths which contained the same bug were fixed on main before 1.28, and in release branches for 1.27.1, 1.26.5, 1.24.6, 1.23.5, and at least a few older branches that Fedora doesn't care about any more.

Comment 3 Lokesh Mandvekar 2023-03-02 10:59:39 UTC
Vulnerable code not used. Ref: https://github.com/containerd/containerd/commit/133f6bb6cd827ce35a5fb279c1ead12b9d21460a
