i have the following problem with klock
user under KDE lock the console and their password is not accepted
when they come back
There are nis based machine

There s no problem under GNOME

Sorry to have distrub you

I discover that it was a configuration problem.
Indeed the kde pam file contains
auth       required	/lib/security/pam_shells.so

and the users shell was not in the /etc/shells file

when i update /etc/shells it works fine
