Description spmfox 2023-03-21 19:51:44 UTC
The package 'cloc' has not been updated for a few years in EPEL, please update this package.

Comment 1 spmfox 2023-03-21 19:57:36 UTC
I updated this to ask for all three EPELs 7, 8, 9. Not sure if I was supposed to make three requests but I thought this would be better to make one unless told otherwise.

Thank you.

This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.

I just submitted builds for EPEL9 and EPEL8. I'll attach the bodhi updates to this BZ and it will be closed once packages are in the repos.

I've tested the new version on EPEL7 and although it works, not sure if it's a good idea or not to update it. It's been many years in that version and EL7 is going EOL in a few days.

Thanks you

EL7 could be helpful to some, it has 4 more years in ELS until EOL on 30th June 2028 after Maintenance Support 2 ends on 30th June 2024.
