Created attachment 1953324 [details] Screenshot of pop up **Description of problem:** Whenever I login to Fedora this window pops out(attached screenshot), "Unable to keep Input Method running. Giving up to bring the process up because main Input Method process for fcitx5 rapidly died many times. See $XDG_CACHE_HOME/imsettings/log for more details." Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): **How reproducible:** Normal steps to login to your user **Steps to Reproduce:** 1.Power up your PC 2.Enter your password and login 3.Error window pops out **Actual results:** Annoying pop up. **Expected results:** There shouldn't be any pop up. **Additional info:** fcitx5 is working fine as expected. I can switch from English to my native language keyboard that I installed with the global hotkey. It's the error pop up that is confusing me. OS: Fedora 37 DE: Plasma 5.27.3 (X11)
As that logs said, you already have fcitx5 instance running. You may have another method to bring it up. then you don't need to use imsettings. That isn't our bug. Please try to remove imsettings and see. if IM doesn't work, enable it again. If you still see this, you may need to find out who actually bring it up other than imsettings. that's the root cause of this then. I'm afraid I don't have anything I can do for a sort of this.

Thanks, removing `imsettings` stopped that pop up.
