Description of problem: After installing FC6, Windows XP wont boot (Fedora 6 boots OK) I get the grub commands rootnoverify (hd0,1) chainloader +1 and a black screen with nothing working (only that few lines on top. (1) after install of FC6, I rebooted as directed and got a grub prompt grub> I entered something like setup hda ( I forget since I was in a dither) and it worked great since then. I have 2 SCSI HDs with FC6 having its own SCSI HD. I can boot to either XP Prof or FC6...no problem! (2) when I change the default index in grub.conf to 2 (to make the default Win XP Prof) I get a grub error and have to use rescue to edit the grub.conf file back to default=0. These problems did not exist in FC4 or 5. Some problems like grub really impact the acceptance of FC6 by newbies.

This bug is open for a Fedora version that is no longer maintained and will not be fixed by Fedora. Therefore we are closing this bug.
