Only "chgrp"? Don't you also need "chmod 770 /var/log/munin"? I would assume it needs to be 770 munin:apache.

Sorry, forget my last comment. I was looking on the wrong machine ;( I use munin-nginx-2.0.72-1.el8.noarch there and not munin-apache. I expect to have access to the other machine tomorrow. Will look it up then and report again.
