Description Kamil Páral 2023-04-11 12:09:54 UTC
With the current Fedora 38 RC 1.1, Live images are named as expected, e.g.:

Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-38-1.1.iso
Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-38-1.1.iso

However, non-live images have an RC suffix, e.g.:

Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-38_RC-1.1.iso
Fedora-Server-netinst-x86_64-38_RC-1.1.iso
Fedora-Everything-netinst-x86_64-38_RC-1.1.iso

I'm not sure if this actually matters or not. But it didn't work like this in the past releases. The images always matched exactly the final image name as released to the public.

Proposing for a blocker discussion, in case this is not intended/wanted behavior.

This is definitely not intended. ;(
Likely a mistake in the pungi config. Thanks for seeing it!

PR is merged, next compose should be OK.

Comment 4 Kamil Páral 2023-04-12 07:18:16 UTC
The images seem to be named correctly with RC 1.4. Closing.
