Description Jan Jasek 2023-04-19 16:46:58 UTC
Created attachment 1958325 [details]
Steps2-4

Description of problem:
Description of Image in Metadata is overwritten by description of Image in Image Details. Even if the description of Image in Image Details is empty.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHOS-16.2-RHEL-8-20230413.n.1

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create Image
2.Change Image Description in Edit Image (Image Details)
3.Change Image Description in Edit Image (Metadata)
4.Check Image properties
(screenshots in attachment)

Actual results:
It doesn't matter what is written in "description" textbox in Edit Image (Metadata). It is every time overwritten by Image Description in Edit Image (Image Details). Even if the description of Image in Image Details is empty. Also when you remove the description in Edit Images (metadata) by click on "minus" then it looks it is deleted but when you click Update Image to save the changes and then you open it again it is again there (with the parameters specified in Edit Image (Image Details).

Expected results:
From my point of view does not make a sense to be able edit Description in both panels (Image Details and Metadata).
I would remove the possibility to change Description from one of the panels or set it as a "read only" in Metadata panel (with hint - You can edit it in Image Details).
