When connecting a Cudy AC1300 model WU1400 USB Wifi adapter the scanning for Access Points works but authentication fails. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Monitor 'journalctl -f' output for errors 2. Plug in USB adapter in a USB 3 port at the back 3. Click on desired Wifi AP to authenticate Actual Results: Wifi fails to authenticate (after 3 retries) Expected Results: Authentication should be successful See attached files

Just as a side note, I did test with the out-of-tree driver from https://github.com/morrownr/88x2bu-20210702.git which seems to work OK. Still some issues with SSID's being renamed, but I suspect it's because I'm running 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz on the same SSID. See attached 88x2bu-journal.txt
