IBM JDK 8 SR7 FP15 (8.0.7.15) fixed a flaw described by upstream as:

IBM Runtime Environment, Java Technology Edition IBMJCEPlus and JSSE components could expose sensitive information using a combination of flaws and configurations.

This issue was fixed in IBM JDK 8 SR7 FP15 (8.0.7.15). The java-1.8.0-ibm packages as shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8 were previously updated to a version that contains the fix via the following errata:
