We could do the linking part which makes sense, but both sections are limited in how much information they provide. I think it makes sense to just drop talking about ephemeral storage entirely, and simply leave it as a configuration option for development/testing purposes (such as quicklab). In the official docs we talk about requiring persistent storage. Perhaps we can just leave it at that. Looks like https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2189670 is effectively calling out that both sections are the same and have limited information, so we can probably end up closing this issue in favour of removing the duplicate sections from the documentation, and doing that as part of 2189670 Closing this as WONTFIX because 2189670 is going to remove the ephemeral sections, making this superseded by that action. |
