As reported in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2190457, beets crashes in some configurations due to outdated dependencies: python3-confuse is missing all updates since 2019. It would be great if it could be updated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: See linked issue: Tools depending on confuse > 1.0.0 crash when using new features. See tagged versions of confuse at https://github.com/beetbox/confuse/tags

Setting NEEDINFO on Fabian Affolter to request review of the PR. If there is no response in the next week or two, please ping me and I can merge, build, and create updates as a python-packagers-sig member.
I just added this to release-monitoring.org[1], so hopefully bugs will be filed for new versions in the future. [1] https://release-monitoring.org/project/90361/
