Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Jan Senkyrik 2023-05-11 13:01:37 UTC
Description of problem:
Satellite 6.13 introduced a wizard for running jobs.

It can be quite tedious when doing a re-run as you have to go through the entire wizard again. It remembers the values from the initial run which is good but one has to click on 'Next' five times to re-run the job. Also on 'Advanced fields' page you might need to scroll down to find the 'Next' button.

The legacy form (while harder on the eyes) allowed user to re-run the job right away by clicking 'Submit'.

An option to do a re-run with single click would be nice.

How to reproduce:
- Start a job, you will get redirected to job invocation page
- On job invocation page click on 'Rerun'

Verified in 6.14 snap 5.

foreman-3.7.0-2.el8sat.noarch
rubygem-foreman_remote_execution-10.0.1-1.el8sat.noarch
satellite-6.14.0-2.el8sat.noarch

The Run job dialog now has two new buttons `Run on selected hosts` and `Skip to review`.

When all mandatory fields are filled in, these buttons become enabled.

`Run on selected hosts` immediately schedules the job on the selected hosts.

`Skip to review` takes user to the `Review details` step.

When Re-running the job, `Run on selected hosts` executes the job with the previously selected hosts and parameters.
