Description Maxwell G 2023-05-11 16:56:25 UTC
Please branch and build python-typer for EPEL 9. Feel free to add me (@gotmax23) as a (co)maintainer for the epel9 branch.

Comment 1 Ben Beasley 2023-05-12 02:30:36 UTC
The dependency on python-pytest-sugar can be patched out.

So can the dependency on python-shellingham, at the cost of the “all” extra (python3-typer+all metapackage), and a few extra skipped tests.

I can proceed with an EPEL9 package, and add back in the extra when python-shellingham is ready.

I’m happy to maintain the EPEL9 branch, but I’m also happy to have you as a co-maintainer.

Yeah, right. I'm not sure why we have that in Fedora in the first place, as it seems purely cosmetic, i.e. it creates pretty colorized output that we don't even use.
