I am getting the same ACPI dump in my log. I am running kernel-2.6.22.2-42.fc6
 on a x86_64 notebook.

I am getting this ACPI error dump repeatedly:

Comment 2 Kyle Pablo 2007-09-06 18:15:24 UTC
Updated to latest kernel, 2.6.22.4-45.fc6 and I am still getting APIC error message.

Comment 3 Kyle Pablo 2007-09-16 15:16:04 UTC
Same on kernel-2.6.22.5-49.fc6

Comment 4 Kyle Pablo 2007-09-26 19:48:25 UTC
Same on kernel-2.6.22.7-57.fc6

Comment 5 Kyle Pablo 2007-10-05 20:31:44 UTC
This is happening on Fedora 7; kernel-2.6.22.9-91.fc7; AMD64

Comment 6 Chuck Ebbert 2007-10-05 21:01:10 UTC
The only known workaround for this is booting with the kernel "noapic" option
(and possibly "noirqdebug" if the system reports that is disabling an IRQ
because it isn't being handled.)

(This is a mass-update to all current FC6 kernel bugs in NEW state)

Hello,

I'm reviewing this bug list as part of the kernel bug triage project, an attempt
to isolate current bugs in the Fedora kernel.

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KernelBugTriage

I am CC'ing myself to this bug, however this version of Fedora is no longer
maintained.

Please attempt to reproduce this bug with a current version of Fedora (presently
Fedora 8). If the bug no longer exists, please close the bug or I'll do so in a
few days if there is no further information lodged.

Thanks for using Fedora!

Comment 8 Jon Stanley 2008-02-08 04:25:27 UTC
