Description of problem: The update to the 0.9.22-3 release removed some critical files such as: /usr/lib64/xrdp/libxup.so /usr/lib64/xrdp/libvnc.so This prevents XRDP from working at all in the Xvnc or Xorg modes. Login fails with errors like: xrdp[2238331]: [ERROR] xrdp_wm_log_msg: error loading libxup.so specified in xrdp.ini, please add a valid entry like lib=libxrdp-vnc.so or similar Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.9.22-3.fc38 0.9.22-3.el8 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Update package 2. Try to log in using xrdp 3. Actual results: Login fails Expected results: Login succeeds Additional info: Not sure how this update was released with this error, as it seems like the package is completely nonfunctional. It seems that copying the missing libraries from an older version of the package allows it to work.

Ironic that the broken version was pushed to Fedora 36 just before EOL and now it hasn't been fixed because it's now after EOL. :-(
Yeah, that was really unfortunate. I could not even commit the fixes - branch was already closed and build targets in koji are gone. I haven't checked copr, to be honest.
