Please branch and build python-sphinx-epytext in epel9.
Will you be able to branch and build python-sphinx-epytext in epel9? I would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish to build it on epel9 (FAS: jcapitao).
The scratch build is successful from rawhide https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=101930950
I added you as a co-maintainer. Thank you for your help

(In reply to Ondřej Pohořelský from comment #3) > I added you as a co-maintainer. Thank you for your help Thank you Ondrej, I requested epel9 branch creation (see comment #4) but it appears I don't have enough authorizations. Could you `fedpkg request-branch epel9`? or give me a upper role please ? I'll handle the next steps. Thanks
Not really sure what is happening here, as I tried to request a branch with the exact same result. Anyway, I switched you to the admin role. I haven't found any project setting that should affect branching out.
> Remote hook declined the push: Creating a new reference/branch is not allowed in this project. That is: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-sphinx-epytext/settings#hooks-tab *Prevent creating new branches by git push* It needs to be deactivated when creating new branches. Please activate it back once done. Anyway, the branch is active in PDC: https://pdc.fedoraproject.org/rest_api/v1/component-branches/?name=epel9&global_component=python-sphinx-epytext So the failure only indicates the actual push to dist git failed.
Thank you Miro for the feedback. The branch is active in PDC, but it does not appear when fetching remote, and even by cloning the repo again. If you want to take a look before I deactivate the option and request the branch creation again.
No need to request it, just push the content you wish to push.
