Hello, Please note that this comment was generated automatically by https://pagure.io/releng/blob/main/f/scripts/ftbfs-fti/follow-policy.py If you feel that this output has mistakes, please open an issue at https://pagure.io/releng/ Your package (ocl-icd) Fails To Install in Fedora 39: can't install ocl-icd-devel: - nothing provides pkgconfig(OpenCL-Headers) needed by ocl-icd-devel-2.3.2-1.fc39.x86_64 If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. If you don't have time to maintain this package, consider orphaning it, so maintainers of dependent packages realize the problem. If you don't react accordingly to the policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/), your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks. P.S. The data was generated solely from koji buildroot, so it might be newer than the latest compose or the content on mirrors. To reproduce, use the koji/local repo only, e.g. in mock: $ mock -r fedora-39-x86_64 --config-opts mirrored=False install ocl-icd-devel P.P.S. If this bug has been reported in the middle of upgrading multiple dependent packages, please consider using side tags: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/#updating-inter-dependent-packages Thanks!
This is blocking me from importing rocclr, which uses this as a build dep. Note the error is: DEBUG util.py:442: No matches found for the following disable plugin patterns: local, spacewalk, versionlock DEBUG util.py:442: Error: DEBUG util.py:442: Problem: conflicting requests DEBUG util.py:442: - nothing provides pkgconfig(OpenCL-Headers) needed by ocl-icd-devel-2.3.2-1.fc39.x86_64 from build DEBUG util.py:444: (try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages) DEBUG util.py:595: Child return code was: 1 So I expect the error is generic. I assume opencl-headers removed its pkg config.
This should be addressed by https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/opencl-headers/pull-request/4
(In reply to Orion Poplawski from comment #2) > This should be addressed by > https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/opencl-headers/pull-request/4 Yeah, sorry, I'd noticed this yesterday, but didn't have the energy to implement the cl-headers bump and pkconf addition, so i unpushed the f38 update at least. Thanks for working this out!!
Fix verified in opencl-headers-3.0-15.20230509gite049b16.fc39 .
