Description Petr Pisar 2023-06-07 13:51:38 UTC
drpm package has been orphaned in Fedora. That means the package will be removed from Fedora unless a packager will adopt it. DNF teams concludes that delta RPM is not a helpful feature for Fedora and recommends disabling drpm feature in createrepo_c.

The spec file seems to be ready for flipping the feature using build conditions. Question is whether sombody needs creating non Fedora repositories with Fedora's createrepo_c.

Reproducible: Always

The dropping of DRPM support was postponed until Fedora 45 due to infrastructure needs. The condition was already added in the linked bodhi update. See the discussion in https://github.com/rpm-software-management/createrepo_c/issues/398.
