Comment 5 Gabriel Somlo 2023-06-28 19:01:47 UTC
5.3 was released immediately after 5.2 due to a high-severity bug: https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798967

Also, is there a chance to push the new 5.3 version into f38 as well as rawhide? There's a really really annoying
bug introduced in the 5.* versions that's also been fixed in 5.2/5.3: https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798829
(which hit me as soon as I upgraded from f36 to f38).

Thanks much for your consideration!

Comment 6 Gwyn Ciesla 2023-06-28 19:52:58 UTC
Since they didn't release a 5.3 docs, and the fix for that bug was the only change, and it was tiny, I've applied it to 5.2 in updates testing.
